KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs 152.70 and the selling rate at Rs 153.30.
The buying rate of one euro has been fixed at Rs 174.55 and the selling rate at Rs 175.24. Similarly, the buying rate of one UK pound sterling has been set at Rs 204.47 and the selling rate at Rs 205.28, while one Swiss franc is being traded at a buying rate of Rs 188.66 and a selling rate of Rs 189.40.
Likewise, the buying rate of one Australian dollar has been fixed at Rs 106.00 and the selling rate at Rs 106.41. One Canadian dollar is being exchanged at a buying rate of Rs 107.99 and a selling rate of Rs 108.42, while one Singapore dollar has a buying rate of Rs 118.19 and a selling rate of Rs 118.66.
The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen has been fixed at Rs 9.43 and the selling rate at Rs 9.46. Similarly, one Chinese yuan is being traded at a buying rate of Rs 22.53 and a selling rate of Rs 22.62.
Similarly, one Saudi Arabian riyal has a buying rate of Rs 40.67 and a selling rate of Rs 40.83, while one Qatari riyal is being exchanged at a buying rate of Rs 41.88 and a selling rate of Rs 42.05.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht has been fixed at Rs 4.58 and the selling rate at Rs 4.60. One UAE dirham is being traded at a buying rate of Rs 41.57 and a selling rate of Rs 41.74, while one Malaysian ringgit has a buying rate of Rs 37.51 and a selling rate of Rs 37.66.
The buying rate of 100 South Korean won has been set at Rs 10.23 and the selling rate at Rs 10.27. One Swedish krona has a buying rate of Rs 15.82 and a selling rate of Rs 15.88, while one Danish krone has a buying rate of Rs 23.35 and a selling rate of Rs 23.44.
Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 19.48 and the selling rate at Rs 19.56. The buying and selling rates of one Kuwaiti dinar have been set at Rs 496.18 and Rs 498.13, respectively.
One Bahraini dinar is being exchanged at a buying rate of Rs 404.99 and a selling rate of Rs 406.58, while one Omani rial has a buying rate of Rs 396.60 and a selling rate of Rs 398.16.
The buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160.00 and the selling rate at Rs 160.15.
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. It also noted that exchange rates determined by commercial banks may vary, and the latest rates are available on the central bank’s website.
