NRB issues foreign currency exchange rates for today



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today (Sunday).

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs 151.88 and the selling rate at Rs 152.48.

Similarly, the buying and selling rates of one euro have been fixed at Rs 175.80 and Rs 176.50 respectively, while one UK pound sterling is being traded at Rs 203.73 for buying and Rs 204.54 for selling. The buying and selling rates of one Swiss franc have been fixed at Rs 190.78 and Rs 191.53 respectively.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar stands at Rs 106.92 and the selling rate at Rs 107.35. One Canadian dollar is valued at Rs 108.58 for buying and Rs 109.01 for selling, while one Singapore dollar is being exchanged at Rs 118.30 for buying and Rs 118.77 for selling.

The buying and selling rates for 10 Japanese yen have been fixed at Rs 9.48 and Rs 9.52 respectively. One Chinese yuan is valued at Rs 22.46 for buying and Rs 22.55 for selling.

Similarly, one Saudi Arabian riyal is being exchanged at Rs 40.47 for buying and Rs 40.63 for selling, while one Qatari riyal has a buying rate of Rs 41.66 and a selling rate of Rs 41.82.

According to Nepal Rastra Bank, the buying and selling rates of one Thai baht are Rs 4.64 and Rs 4.66 respectively. One UAE dirham is valued at Rs 41.35 for buying and Rs 41.52 for selling, while one Malaysian ringgit is being exchanged at Rs 37.43 and Rs 37.58 respectively.

The buying rate of 100 South Korean won has been fixed at Rs 10.10 and the selling rate at Rs 10.14. Similarly, one Swedish krona is being traded at Rs 16.10 for buying and Rs 16.16 for selling, while one Danish krone has a buying rate of Rs 23.52 and a selling rate of Rs 23.61.

The buying and selling rates of one Hong Kong dollar have been fixed at Rs 19.38 and Rs 19.46 respectively. One Kuwaiti dinar is valued at Rs 494.32 for buying and Rs 496.27 for selling, while one Bahraini dinar is being exchanged at Rs 402.78 and Rs 404.38 respectively. Likewise, one Omani rial has a buying rate of Rs 394.47 and a selling rate of Rs 396.03.

Meanwhile, the buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160.00, while the selling rate stands at Rs 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. It also noted that rates determined by commercial banks may differ, and the latest exchange rates are available on the central bank’s website.
