KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the foreign currency exchange rates for today.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 152.84, while the selling rate stands at Rs 153.44.
The buying rate of one Euro is Rs 179.03 and the selling rate is Rs 179.73. Similarly, the buying rate of one UK pound sterling is Rs 206.44 and the selling rate is Rs 207.25. The Swiss franc is being traded at a buying rate of Rs 195.59 and a selling rate of Rs 196.35.
Likewise, the buying rate of one Australian dollar has been fixed at Rs 110.80, while the selling rate is Rs 111.24.
The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.69 and the selling rate is Rs 9.72. The Chinese yuan has a buying rate of Rs 22.51 and a selling rate of Rs 22.59. Similarly, the buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal is Rs 40.74 and the selling rate is Rs 40.90, while the Qatari riyal is being exchanged at Rs 41.93 for buying and Rs 42.09 for selling.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs 4.72 and the selling rate is Rs 4.74. The UAE dirham has a buying rate of Rs 41.61 and a selling rate of Rs 41.78. Likewise, the Malaysian ringgit is being traded at Rs 38.89 for buying and Rs 39.04 for selling.
The South Korean won has a buying rate of Rs 10.26 and a selling rate of Rs 10.30, while the Swedish krona is valued at Rs 16.40 for buying and Rs 16.46 for selling. The Danish krone has been fixed at Rs 23.96 for buying and Rs 24.05 for selling.
Similarly, the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar is Rs 19.52 and the selling rate is Rs 19.60. The Kuwaiti dinar is being traded at Rs 498.91 for buying and Rs 500.87 for selling. The Bahraini dinar has a buying rate of Rs 405.25 and a selling rate of Rs 406.84, while the Omani riyal is fixed at Rs 396.98 for buying and Rs 398.54 for selling.
The buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160, while the selling rate stands at Rs 160.15.
Nepal Rastra Bank stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. The central bank also noted that exchange rates determined by commercial banks may differ, and updated rates are available on its official website.
