Yadav urges unity and collective action for development and good governance



KATHMANDU: Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav has said that the New Year should be taken as an opportunity to begin new initiatives, cultivate positive thinking, and adopt resolutions for a healthier and more disciplined lifestyle.

Extending best wishes for happiness, peace, prosperity, good health and continued progress on the occasion of New Year 2083 BS, he said the new year can bring greater discipline, stability and positivity in personal life. He also expressed confidence that it would help strengthen social and cultural harmony, tolerance and a sense of brotherhood.

Vice President Yadav stressed the need for collective commitment toward economic development, education, health, environmental protection and climate action. He further said that the New Year should inspire renewed efforts to strengthen the federal democratic republic through good governance, proportional representation and the socialist values enshrined in the Constitution.
