NC President Thapa urges unity beyond party lines for national progress



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) President Gagan Thapa has stressed the need to rise above party interests and work in cooperation for the greater good of the nation and its people.

Extending his best wishes for happiness, peace, prosperity, and continued progress on the occasion of New Year 2083 bs, Thapa urged all political parties and responsible institutions to collaborate in building a peaceful, civilized, and economically prosperous country.

He emphasized the importance of safeguarding and strengthening the historic achievements earned through the sacrifices and struggles of the Nepali people, while collectively addressing emerging national challenges with unity and determination.

He noted that the time has come to seize new opportunities, reinforce good governance, and move decisively toward economic development and prosperity.

Thapa also expressed hope that the New Year would further strengthen unity, brotherhood, goodwill, and cooperation among Nepalis, while consolidating the federal democratic republic. He wished that the year would bring renewed energy, enthusiasm, and inspiration for advancing economic, social, and cultural progress.
