RSP holding Secretariat meeting to finalize PR candidates



KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is holding a meeting of its secretariat to finalize the names of candidates under the Proportional Representation (PR) system.

Spokesperson Manish Jha said the meeting has been convened to recommend candidates under the proportional representation system for the House of Representatives.

The Election Commission has asked political parties to submit their lists of candidates to be elected under the proportional system by March 14 (Saturday).

The RSP, which emerged as the largest party in the recently concluded elections, is also preparing to form a government.
