15 injured as three vehicles collide in Chitwan



CHITWAN: At least 15 people were injured after three vehicles collided at Aaptari Chowk in Bharatpur Metropolitan City–1 on Saturday.

According to the District Police Office Chitwan, a bus (Ga 1 Kha 9925) traveling from Muglin towards Narayanghat collided with a Bolero (Lu 1 Cha 8552) coming from the opposite direction. During the incident, an auto-rickshaw (Ba Pra 03–001 Ha 2548) approaching from behind also rammed into the Bolero.

Police said 14 of the injured were passengers on the bus, while one was the auto driver.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Rabindra Khanal, seven of the injured are receiving treatment at Bharatpur Hospital, four at Chitwan Medical College, and four at National City Hospital.

Police said the condition of all the injured is normal.
