NC Special General Convention: Gagan Thapa files candidacy for party President



KATHMANDU: Gagan Thapa has filed his candidacy for the post of Nepali Congress (NC) President during the NC Special General Convention, following the failure of talks with the party establishment to reach a consensus.

According to the election committee, Thapa is the sole candidate for the position of President. Preparations are currently underway to conduct the voting later today.
