Kathmandu’s minimum temperature dips below 3°C in early readings



KATHMANDU: The minimum temperature in the Kathmandu Valley on Wednesday fell below 3 degrees Celsius in the initial measurements.

According to the Weather Forecasting Division, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu was 2.7°C at 5:45 am today. At the same time yesterday, the temperature was 3.0°C.

Later, at 8:45 am, Tuesday’s minimum temperature was recorded at 2.8°C. Today’s official minimum temperature will also be measured at 8:45 am and is expected to drop further.

The Division records daily minimum and maximum temperatures for various locations across the country, including Kathmandu. The minimum temperature is measured at 8:45 am, while the maximum temperature is measured at 5:45 pm.

The lowest recorded temperature is referred to as the minimum temperature, and the highest as the maximum temperature.
