NRB issues today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today (Monday).

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs 152.23 and the selling rate at Rs 152.83.

The buying rate of one European euro has been fixed at Rs 173.75 and the selling rate at Rs 174.43. The buying rate of one UK pound sterling stands at Rs 204.10 and the selling rate at Rs 204.91. Similarly, the buying rate of one Swiss franc has been set at Rs 188.28 and the selling rate at Rs 189.02.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar is Rs 105.84 and the selling rate is Rs 106.26. The buying rate of one Canadian dollar has been fixed at Rs 107.53 and the selling rate at Rs 107.96, while the buying rate of one Singapore dollar is Rs 117.85 and the selling rate is Rs 118.31.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.41 and the selling rate is Rs 9.45. The buying rate of one Chinese yuan is Rs 22.46 and the selling rate is Rs 22.55. Likewise, the buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal is Rs 40.55 and the selling rate is Rs 40.71, while the buying rate of one Qatari riyal is Rs 41.78 and the selling rate is Rs 41.94.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs 4.57 and the selling rate is Rs 4.59. The buying rate of one UAE dirham has been fixed at Rs 41.45 and the selling rate at Rs 41.61. The buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit is Rs 37.40 and the selling rate is Rs 37.55.

The buying rate of 100 South Korean won stands at Rs 10.15 and the selling rate at Rs 10.19. Similarly, the buying rate of one Swedish krona is Rs 15.75 and the selling rate is Rs 15.82, while the buying rate of one Danish krone is Rs 23.25 and the selling rate is Rs 23.34.

NRB has fixed the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 19.42 and the selling rate at Rs 19.49. The buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar has been set at Rs 494.65 and the selling rate at Rs 496.60.

Likewise, the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar is Rs 403.76 and the selling rate is Rs 405.35. The buying rate of one Omani rial has been fixed at Rs 395.38 and the selling rate at Rs 396.94.

The buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160.00 and the selling rate at Rs 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. It also noted that exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ, and the latest rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
