NRB publishes today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs 152.71, while the selling rate stands at Rs 153.31.

The buying rate of one Euro has been fixed at Rs 179.31 and the selling rate at Rs 180.02. Similarly, the buying and selling rates of one UK Pound Sterling have been fixed at Rs 206.72 and Rs 207.53 respectively, while one Swiss Franc is being traded at Rs 195.53 for buying and Rs 196.30 for selling.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been fixed at Rs 110.35 and the selling rate at Rs 110.78. Likewise, one Canadian dollar is being exchanged at Rs 111.39 for buying and Rs 111.82 for selling, while one Singapore dollar has a buying rate of Rs 120.02 and a selling rate of Rs 120.49.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.69 and the selling rate is Rs 9.73. One Chinese yuan is being exchanged at Rs 22.48 for buying and Rs 22.57 for selling. Similarly, the buying and selling rates of one Saudi Arabian riyal are Rs 40.70 and Rs 40.86 respectively, while one Qatari riyal is valued at Rs 41.86 for buying and Rs 42.06 for selling.

The buying rate of one Thai baht has been fixed at Rs 4.71 and the selling rate at Rs 4.73. One UAE dirham is being traded at Rs 41.58 for buying and Rs 41.74 for selling. Likewise, the buying and selling rates of one Malaysian ringgit are Rs 38.82 and Rs 38.97 respectively.

The buying rate of 100 South Korean won has been fixed at Rs 10.25 and the selling rate at Rs 10.29. Similarly, one Swedish krona is being exchanged at Rs 16.47 for buying and Rs 16.53 for selling, while one Danish krone has a buying rate of Rs 24.00 and a selling rate of Rs 24.09.

Nepal Rastra Bank has set the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 19.51 and the selling rate at Rs 19.58. Likewise, one Kuwaiti dinar is being traded at Rs 498.64 for buying and Rs 500.60 for selling.

The buying and selling rates of one Bahraini dinar have been fixed at Rs 404.82 and Rs 406.42 respectively, while one Omani rial is valued at Rs 396.64 for buying and Rs 398.20 for selling.

The buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160.00 and the selling rate at Rs 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. The exchange rates set by commercial banks may vary, and updated rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
