Nepal Airlines evacuation flight from Dubai to Kathmandu to continue today



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Airlines Corporation has been conducting rescue flights to bring back Nepali citizens stranded in West Asian countries in coordination with the government.

According to corporation spokesperson Devendra Pun, a special evacuation flight on Thursday brought 272 Nepali nationals stranded at Dubai International Airport back to Nepal.

The same aircraft had earlier transported 260 passengers stranded at Tribhuvan International Airport to Dubai.

Pun said another Nepal Airlines aircraft is scheduled to depart for Dubai today carrying 267 passengers and will return with 164 Nepalis currently stranded there.
