Nepali Congress executive committee meeting postponed, rescheduled for tomorrow at 8 a.m.

KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress Central Executive Committee meeting, which began in Sanepa, was postponed shortly after it started.

The meeting was initially chaired by Vice-president Dhanraj Gurung, as Acting President Khadka was occupied with ongoing talks.

According to party leaders, the meeting was suspended to allow for further discussions at the leadership level.

Leader Guru Baral stated that the postponed session is now scheduled to reconvene tomorrow morning at 8 a.m.

The delay aims to give time for a consensus point to emerge from the tripartite talks among the convention organizers, President Sher Bahadur Deuba’s supporters, and leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala’s faction.
