NC special convention maintains 4,638 delegates for election process



KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress’s ongoing statute-based special general convention in Kathmandu has finalized 4,638 delegates to participate in the election process.

According to the Election Committee, since the 14th general convention, 61 delegates from across the country have left the party, while 44 delegates have passed away. After accounting for those who resigned or died, the total number of active delegates now stands at 4,638.

The finalized list of delegates will take part in electing the party’s new central committee and office bearers, marking a key step in the party’s leadership renewal process.
