BAGLUNG: A police patrol team recovered three unlicensed guns from Thanapati Community Forest in Badigad Rural Municipality-5.
According to Rameshwor Twati, spokesperson for the District Police Office, the patrol team found the three firearms in the forest on Friday afternoon.
Meanwhile, police arrested a woman during a raid conducted at Meena Hotel and Restaurant in Burtibang Riverhead, Dhorpatan Municipality-1, following a tip-off about the sale of illegal drugs in Burtibang.
Hotel operator Ramkumari Thapa of Dhaulagiri Rural Municipality-2, Myagdi, was arrested during the operation, spokesperson Twati said.
Police recovered 1,500 grams of marijuana and 380 grams of hashish from her possession. According to police, an investigation into the case has begun after the District Court granted five days of custody for further investigation.
