Physical Infrastructure Minister Sunil Lamsal declares assets worth Rs 9 million



KATHMANDU: Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Cooperative Development Sunil Lamsal has made his property details public, showing assets worth around Rs 9 million.

According to the disclosure released on Sunday by the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Minister Lamsal holds Rs 9 million in bank savings, although the specific bank has not been disclosed.

The declaration also shows that he owns 30 tolas of gold and 50 tolas of silver.

Most of the immovable property is listed under family ownership. A house built on 1 kattha and 10 dhur of land in Tilottama–7 is registered in the name of Jamuna Lamsal.

Similarly, 10 kattha and 15 dhur of land in Kawasoti is also registered under Jamuna Lamsal’s name.

Family-owned assets also include 7 ropani of farmland and 22 ropani of bari land in Syangja District under the name of Bodhraj Lamsal.

No details of investments in the stock market or companies have been disclosed in the minister’s declaration.
