Gold price hits all-time high



KATHMANDU: Gold prices in the domestic market climbed to a record high on Monday, continuing their strong upward trend.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold rose by Rs 4,100 per tola in today’s trading. With this increase, gold is now being traded at Rs 274,700 per tola, the highest level ever recorded in Nepal’s bullion market.

On Sunday, gold had been trading at Rs 270,600 per tola.

Silver prices also surged on Monday. The price of silver increased by Rs 205 per tola to reach Rs 5,195 per tola, which is also an all-time high.
