KATHMANDU: Three people were killed and five others injured after a jeep plunged about 300 metres off the road in Kedarsyu Rural Municipality-7 of Bajhang district on Saturday.
According to preliminary information, the victims died at the scene after the vehicle lost control and veered off the road in the Sungare area.
A helicopter has been dispatched to the accident site due to the area’s difficult terrain.
The identities of the deceased have yet to be established, and further details of the incident are awaited.
Police have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident.
