KATHMANDU: The National Examination Board is preparing to publish the results of the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) today.

According to the board, a meeting is currently underway to finalize the results, and they are expected to be made public between 6 and 7 PM.

The SEE examinations were conducted from May 2 to 12. The government had directed the board to publish the results within one month, and this year the results are being released within that timeframe.

Education Minister Sasmit Pokharel had earlier also committed to publishing the results within one month.

According to the National Examination Board, a total of 512,421 students had applied for the exam. Among them, 441,566 appeared in the regular category, while 70,855 students appeared for the grade improvement category.

The board said all preparations for the publication of results have been completed, and the final decision is in its concluding stage.
