NRB issues today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign currency exchange rates for today (Monday). According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs 150.88 and the selling rate at Rs 151.48.

Similarly, the buying rate of one Euro stands at Rs 177.83 and the selling rate at Rs 178.53. The buying rate of one UK Pound Sterling has been fixed at Rs 205.71 and the selling rate at Rs 206.53, while one Swiss Franc is being traded at a buying rate of Rs 194.32 and a selling rate of Rs 195.09.

The buying rate of one Australian Dollar has been fixed at Rs 109.34 and the selling rate at Rs 109.78. Likewise, one Canadian Dollar is being traded at Rs 110.32 for buying and Rs 110.76 for selling, while one Singapore Dollar has a buying rate of Rs 119.08 and a selling rate of Rs 119.55.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of 10 Japanese Yen is Rs 9.63 and the selling rate is Rs 9.67. One Chinese Yuan has been fixed at Rs 22.19 for buying and Rs 22.27 for selling.

Similarly, one Saudi Arabian Riyal is being traded at Rs 40.22 for buying and Rs 40.38 for selling, while one Qatari Riyal has a buying rate of Rs 41.42 and a selling rate of Rs 41.58.

The buying rate of one Thai Baht has been fixed at Rs 4.68 and the selling rate at Rs 4.70. One UAE Dirham is being traded at Rs 41.08 for buying and Rs 41.24 for selling, while one Malaysian Ringgit has a buying rate of Rs 38.48 and a selling rate of Rs 38.63.

Likewise, 100 South Korean Won has been fixed at Rs 10.32 for buying and Rs 10.36 for selling. One Swedish Kronor is being traded at Rs 16.37 for buying and Rs 16.44 for selling, while one Danish Kroner has a buying rate of Rs 23.80 and a selling rate of Rs 23.89.

The buying rate of one Hong Kong Dollar has been fixed at Rs 19.27 and the selling rate at Rs 19.35. Similarly, one Kuwaiti Dinar is being traded at Rs 492.75 for buying and Rs 494.71 for selling, one Bahraini Dinar at Rs 399.84 for buying and Rs 401.43 for selling, and one Omani Riyal at Rs 391.89 for buying and Rs 393.45 for selling.

The exchange rate for 100 Indian Rupees has been fixed at Rs 160 for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling.

Nepal Rastra Bank stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. The rates set by commercial banks may vary, and updated exchange rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
