Gold and silver prices rise in domestic market



KATHMANDU: The prices of gold and silver have increased in the domestic market today.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold has risen by Rs 3,400 per tola (11.66 grams), reaching Rs 305,800 per tola.

Gold was traded at Rs 302,400 per tola on Wednesday. Meanwhile, the price of silver has also increased. The federation said silver became Rs 105 more expensive per tola, reaching Rs 4,855. Silver was priced at Rs 4,750 per tola on Wednesday.
