Indian national arrested with brown sugar in Birgunj



KATHMANDU: Parsa police have arrested an Indian national with brown sugar from Krishna Pranami Chowk in Birgunj Metropolitan City-14.

The arrested has been identified as 25-year-old Shatrudhan Paswan, a resident of Sripur Gram Panchayat-1 in Motihari, India.

Police said Paswan was found behaving suspiciously on the road and was taken into custody by a police team. A body search led to the recovery of 16.57 grams of brown sugar, according to the District Police Office, Parsa.

Police said further investigation into the case is underway under the Narcotic Drugs (Control) Act.
