Two newly appointed ministers take oath



KATHMANDU: Two newly appointed ministers have taken the oath of office and secrecy.

President Ram Chandra Paudel administered the oath to Gauri Kumari Yadav and Ramji Yadav at a ceremony held at Sheetal Niwas, the President’s residence on Friday.

Prime Minister Balendra Shah appointed both ministers on Friday. Ramji Yadav has been appointed Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security, while Gauri Kumari Yadav has been appointed Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies.

Earlier, Prime Minister Shah had relieved Deepak Sah of his responsibility as Labour Minister. The Prime Minister had himself been overseeing the Industry Ministry.

Ramji Yadav is a Member of Parliament elected from Saptari Constituency No. 2, while Gauri Kumari Yadav is an MP elected from Mahottari Constituency No. 4.
