KATHMANDU: The weather is currently partly cloudy in the mountainous regions, including Koshi Province, while most parts of the hills and the Terai are experiencing generally clear conditions.
The Weather Forecasting Division has reported light rainfall in one or two locations in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces.
According to the Division stated that there is a possibility of light rain or snowfall accompanied by thunder and lightning in a few places in the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi Province, as well as in the Terai areas of Koshi Province.
Similar weather activity is also likely in one or two locations in the mountainous regions of Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces during the afternoon. In addition, wind is expected in a few places in the Terai regions of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim Provinces.
At night, light rain or snowfall may occur in one or two places in the mountainous regions of Koshi and Gandaki Provinces, the Division added.
