Chinese ambassador thanks Nepal government for successfully holding elections



KATHMANDU: Chinese ambassador Zhang Maoming paid a courtesy call on Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal at his office on Tuesday.

During the meeting, the two discussed various matters related to bilateral relations between Nepal and China, as well as areas of mutual cooperation.

Home Minister Aryal wished Ambassador Zhang a successful tenure and expressed confidence that relations between the two countries would reach new heights.

According to the Ministry of Home Affairs Nepal, Aryal expressed gratitude for China’s support to Nepal’s economic and social development and voiced confidence that such cooperation would continue in the future.

He also highlighted the need for cooperation and collaboration in areas such as telecommunications and cybercrime control.

On the occasion, Ambassador Zhang thanked the Government of Nepal for successfully conducting the recent general elections. He also reaffirmed his commitment to making every possible effort to further strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
