Kathmandu records 7.5°C in early morning temperature reading



KATHMANDU: The minimum temperature of the Kathmandu Valley has declined for the second consecutive day in the initial measurement taken today (Tuesday).

According to the Weather Forecasting Division, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu was recorded at 7.5 degrees Celsius at 5:45 am. At the same time on Monday, the Valley’s minimum temperature stood at 8.6 degrees Celsius.

The Division noted that the official minimum temperature is recorded at 8:45 am, and the temperature at that time today is likely to be slightly lower than the initial reading.

On Sunday, the initial minimum temperature in the Kathmandu Valley was 9.4 degrees Celsius, which later dropped to 8.8 degrees Celsius at 8:45 am.
