Foreign currency exchange rates fixed for today



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today, with the US dollar set at Rs 154.56 for buying and Rs 155.16 for selling.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one euro has been fixed at Rs 172.83 and the selling rate at Rs 173.50. The British pound sterling is set at Rs 203.87 for buying and Rs 204.66 for selling, while the Swiss franc stands at Rs 185.28 and Rs 186, respectively.

Similarly, the Australian dollar is priced at Rs 107.44 for buying and Rs 107.86 for selling. The Canadian dollar is set at Rs 108.36 and Rs 108.78, while the Singapore dollar stands at Rs 120.55 and Rs 121.02, respectively.

The buying and selling rates for 10 Japanese yen have been fixed at Rs 9.77 and Rs 9.80, respectively. The Chinese yuan is set at Rs 23.06 for buying and Rs 23.15 for selling. The Saudi Arabian riyal stands at Rs 41.17 and Rs 41.33, while the Qatari riyal is fixed at Rs 42.40 and Rs 42.57, respectively.

The Thai baht is set at Rs 4.59 for buying and Rs 4.61 for selling. The UAE dirham stands at Rs 42.08 and Rs 42.25, while the Malaysian ringgit is fixed at Rs 37.78 and Rs 37.92, respectively.

The buying and selling rates for 100 South Korean won have been set at Rs 11.50 and Rs 11.54, respectively. The Swedish krona stands at Rs 15.43 for buying and Rs 15.49 for selling, while the Danish krone is fixed at Rs 23.12 and Rs 23.21, respectively.

The Hong Kong dollar is set at Rs 19.70 for buying and Rs 19.77 for selling. The Kuwaiti dinar stands at Rs 501.57 and Rs 503.52, while the Bahraini dinar is fixed at Rs 409.81 and Rs 411.40, respectively. The Omani rial has been set at Rs 401.46 for buying and Rs 403.02 for selling.

The buying rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160, while the selling rate is Rs 160.15.

NRB said the exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. Rates offered by commercial banks may vary, and the latest rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
