NRB issues foreign currency exchange rates for today



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today (Tuesday). According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 152.84 and the selling rate at Rs 153.44.

Similarly, the buying rate of one euro has been fixed at Rs 176.39 and the selling rate at Rs 177.09. The buying rate of one UK pound sterling has been fixed at Rs 204.26 and the selling rate at Rs 205.06, while the buying rate of one Swiss franc has been fixed at Rs 192.00 and the selling rate at Rs 192.75.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been fixed at Rs 108.12 and the selling rate at Rs 108.54. Likewise, the buying rate of one Canadian dollar has been fixed at Rs 109.70 and the selling rate at Rs 110.13, while the buying rate of one Singapore dollar has been fixed at Rs 118.72 and the selling rate at Rs 119.18.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen has been fixed at Rs 9.55 and the selling rate at Rs 9.59. Similarly, the buying rate of one Chinese yuan is Rs 22.53 and the selling rate is Rs 22.62. The buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal is Rs 40.70 and the selling rate is Rs 40.86, while the buying rate of one Qatari riyal is Rs 41.92 and the selling rate is Rs 42.09.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs 4.66 and the selling rate is Rs 4.68. The buying rate of one UAE dirham is Rs 41.61 and the selling rate is Rs 41.77. Likewise, the buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit is Rs 37.52 and the selling rate is Rs 37.67.

The buying rate of 100 South Korean won is Rs 9.99 and the selling rate is Rs 10.03. The buying rate of one Swedish krona is Rs 16.23 and the selling rate is Rs 16.29, while the buying rate of one Danish krone is Rs 23.60 and the selling rate is Rs 23.69.

Nepal Rastra Bank has set the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 19.50 and the selling rate at Rs 19.58. The buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar has been fixed at Rs 499.45 and the selling rate at Rs 501.40.

Similarly, the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar is Rs 405.30 and the selling rate is Rs 406.89, while the buying rate of one Omani rial is Rs 396.97 and the selling rate is Rs 398.52.

The buying and selling rates of 100 Indian rupees have both been fixed at Rs 160.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. The exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ, and updated rates are available on the central bank’s website.
