One killed in motorcycle accident in Sunsari



SUNSARI: A motorcycle accident in Barahakshetra Municipality-5 has left one person dead, police said on Saturday morning.

According to the District Police Office Sunsari, the deceased has been identified as 30-year-old Manish Basnet, a resident of Bargaun in Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City-8.

The accident occurred at around 4:30 am near Tin Kune Milijuli School along the Kalabanjar–Dharan road section when the motorcycle (Province 1-01-018 Pa 7892) crashed into a cement culvert and fell into a nearby canal, police said.

Following initial investigation, the body has been sent to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences for post-mortem examination.
