Nepali Congress holding provincial gathering in Dhangadhi today



KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress is organizing a province-level gathering focused on provincial and local governance in Dhangadhi, Sudurpashchim Province, starting Saturday.

The two-day event will be inaugurated by party president Gagan Kumar Thapa, who has already left for Dhangadhi by air.

Vice-president Bishwa Prakash Sharma and General Secretary Gururaj Ghimire had reached Dhangadhi earlier for the program.

The decision to organize province-level gatherings in all seven provinces was taken during a meeting of the party’s Central Policy, Research and Training Academy held on May 6.
