HoR meeting taking place today, CIAA annual report to be tabled

KATHMANDU: A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) under the Federal Parliament is being held today at Singha Durbar. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 11 am.

The agenda includes the presentation of the Annual Report of the Office of the Attorney General for fiscal year 2081/82 BS by Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Sobita Gautam on behalf of Prime Minister Balendra Shah.

Likewise, Minister Gautam is also scheduled to table the 35th Annual Report of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) for fiscal year 2081/82 BS.

Similarly, on behalf of Prime Minister Shah, Minister Gautam is scheduled to seek approval from the House to present and discuss the National Service Party Bill, 2083 BS.

Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle will present a proposal to send the Nepal Rastra Bank (Third Amendment) Bill, 2083 BS, to the concerned committee for clause-by-clause discussion.

Likewise, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Khadak Raj Poudel will propose sending the Tourism Bill, 2082 BS, which originated in the National Assembly, to the relevant committee for clause-by-clause deliberations.
