Opposition lawmakers continue obstruction in House of Representatives

KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives meeting is currently underway, with opposition parties continuing their protest and obstruction of parliamentary proceedings.

As soon as the session began, lawmakers from opposition parties stood from their seats in protest, disrupting the meeting.

The opposition has been obstructing Parliament in response to remarks made by Prime Minister Balen Shah, which they say are objectionable.

Despite the commencement of the meeting, opposition lawmakers have maintained their protest, keeping pressure on the government over the issue.

The parliamentary deadlock has persisted for several days, with opposition parties demanding clarification and accountability from the government regarding the prime minister’s statement.

Further developments are expected as discussions continue between the ruling and opposition parties to resolve the impasse.
