Sapkota elected RSP president in Surkhet



KARNALI: Ramesh Kumar Sapkota has been elected president of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Surkhet District Committee.

The party’s first district convention, held in Birendranagar, Surkhet, elected him unanimously to the post. Prior to this, he had also been serving as the party’s district president in Surkhet. He is also the House of Representatives member from Surkhet-2.

According to Sapkota, although he was elected unopposed as district president, the selection of the remaining office-bearers and members of the district executive committee will be finalized through a meeting of the Election Committee.

The district working committee will consist of 13 members.
