Gold and silver prices continue to rise



KATHMANDU: The prices of gold and silver increased again in the local market today compared to Thursday. The price of gold rose by Rs 1,300 per tola, while silver increased by Rs 120 per tola.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations, gold is being traded at Rs 299,900 per tola in the local market today, while silver is priced at Rs 5,275 per tola.

On Thursday, gold was traded at Rs 298,600 per tola and silver at Rs 5,155 per tola. Similarly, on Wednesday, gold was traded at Rs 296,800 per tola, while silver was priced at Rs 5,050 per tola.

According to international media reports, gold is being traded at around USD 4,715 per ounce in the international market today, while silver is priced at USD 79 per ounce.
