KATHMANDU: Nepal is currently experiencing a partial influence of westerly winds. According to the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology, mist has prevailed in some parts of the Terai, while the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces, as well as Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, remain partly cloudy.
The Department has forecast mist or fog in some areas of the Terai this afternoon. The hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces are expected to be partly cloudy, while the weather in the remaining parts of the country will remain mostly clear. There is also a possibility of light rain or snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi Province.
Tonight, cloudiness is likely in some parts of the Terai. The high hilly and mountainous regions of Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces are expected to remain partly cloudy, while the rest of the country will see mainly clear weather.
