Pillion rider dies in motorcycle accident



KATHMANDU: A man died in a motorcycle accident in Lokchhong, Silichong Rural Municipality–2, Sankhuwasabha, last evening.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Kumar Prasad Mainali of the District Police Office, Prem Kumar Rai, 56, of Silichong–2, Beteni, originally from Salpa Silicho–1, Kamletar, Bhojpur, died on the spot after the motorcycle met with an accident on an inner road in Silichong–2.

The motorcycle driven by Akash Rai, 22, of Salpa Silicho–1, Kamletar, was heading towards Bala from Beteni at the time of the accident. DSP Mainali said Prem Kumar Rai, pillion rider, died at the scene.
