Govt opens recruitment for 133,980 election police ahead of March 5 polls



KATHMANDU: The government has announced the recruitment of Election Police (temporary police) ahead of the upcoming House of Representatives elections scheduled for March 5.

The Police Headquarters’ Human Resource Development Department, Recruitment and Selection Branch, has issued a notice calling for 133,980 Election Police personnel.

Applications for the recruitment can be submitted from Friday, January 9, until February 13. The notice also states that applications will be accepted on holidays.
