KATHMANDU: Pakistan has provided 100 tons of relief supplies to Nepal to support communities affected by the devastating floods and landslides.
The relief consignment, which includes tents, blankets, mats, hygiene kits and medicines, arrived in Kathmandu on Sunday.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to Nepal, Aamir Khan, formally handed over the relief supplies to Minister Mahabir Pun, reaffirming Pakistan’s continued support and solidarity with Nepal during the crisis.
Speaking on the occasion, Ambassador Khan said Pakistan’s support for Nepal remains steadfast and reiterated his country’s solidarity with the Government and people of Nepal during this difficult time.
Pakistan also expressed its deepest sympathies to the families who lost loved ones and to all those affected by the floods and landslides, while reaffirming its readiness to provide further assistance to Nepal as needed.
