Foreign currency exchange rates fixed for today



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign currency exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs 150.88, while the selling rate is Rs 151.48.

The buying rate of one European euro has been fixed at Rs 175.22 and the selling rate at Rs 175.92. Similarly, the buying rate of one UK pound sterling is Rs 204.03 and the selling rate is Rs 204.84. The Swiss franc has been fixed at Rs 186.35 for buying and Rs 187.09 for selling.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar is Rs 108.67 and the selling rate is Rs 109.10, while the Canadian dollar has been fixed at Rs 109.02 for buying and Rs 109.45 for selling. The Singapore dollar has a buying rate of Rs 119.10 and a selling rate of Rs 119.57.

The central bank has fixed the buying rate of 10 Japanese yen at Rs 9.66 and the selling rate at Rs 9.70. The Chinese yuan has been set at Rs 22.48 for buying and Rs 22.57 for selling. Similarly, the Saudi Arabian riyal has a buying rate of Rs 40.18 and a selling rate of Rs 40.34, while the Qatari riyal has been fixed at Rs 41.39 for buying and Rs 41.56 for selling.

The buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs 4.58 and the selling rate is Rs 4.60. The UAE dirham has been fixed at Rs 41.08 for buying and Rs 41.24 for selling, while the Malaysian ringgit has a buying rate of Rs 37.30 and a selling rate of Rs 37.45.

The South Korean won has been fixed at Rs 11.22 for buying and Rs 11.27 for selling. The buying rate of one Swedish krona is Rs 15.75 and the selling rate is Rs 15.81, while the Danish krone has been fixed at Rs 23.44 for buying and Rs 23.54 for selling.

Likewise, the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar has been fixed at Rs 19.24 and the selling rate at Rs 19.32. The Kuwaiti dinar has a buying rate of Rs 491.47 and a selling rate of Rs 493.42, while the Bahraini dinar has been fixed at Rs 400.19 for buying and Rs 401.78 for selling. The Omani rial has a buying rate of Rs 391.89 and a selling rate of Rs 393.45.

The buying and selling rates of 100 Indian rupees have both been fixed at Rs 160.

Nepal Rastra Bank said the exchange rates may be revised at any time if necessary. It added that exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ from those fixed by the central bank, with updated rates available on the Nepal Rastra Bank website.
