Toshima Karki wins Lalitpur-3 seat for RSP



LALITPUR: Toshima Karki of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has been elected to the House of Representatives from Lalitpur-3, securing 43,096 votes.

Her closest rival, Jitendra Kumar Shrestha of the Nepali Congress, received 9,045 votes, while Rajkaji Maharjan of the Nepali Communist Party garnered 6,022 votes.

Speaking to journalists after her victory, Karki said the outcome represents a victory for people across the country. She stated that the RSP has not only won the election but also taken on the responsibility of the nation.

Karki expressed confidence that better days are ahead for citizens. She added that the party will work in line with the public mandate to end corruption and promote good governance.
