RSP sweeps all 10 constituencies in Kathmandu



KATHMANDU:  The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has secured a clean sweep in all 10 constituencies of Kathmandu in the House of Representatives election in Nepal, marking a historic result in the capital.

The winning RSP candidates are Ranju Darshana Neupane in Kathmandu-1, Sunil KC in Kathmandu-2, Rajunath Pandey in Kathmandu-3, Pukar Bam in Kathmandu-4, Sasmit Pokharel in Kathmandu-5, Shishir Khanal in Kathmandu-6, Ganesh Parajuli in Kathmandu-7, Biraj Bhakta Shrestha in Kathmandu-8, Dol Prasad Aryal in Kathmandu-9, and Pradip Bista in Kathmandu-10.

RSP candidates secured large vote margins across the capital, defeating candidates from the Nepali Congress and other parties.

With the Kathmandu sweep, the RSP is also on track to win most constituencies across the Kathmandu Valley.
