UML’s Rayi elected to HoR from Banke-2



BANKE: CPN-UML candidate Mohammad Ishtyak Rayi has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Banke-2.

According to the final results of the election held on Thursday, he secured 24,616 votes. His closest rival, Bivek Kumar Shrestha of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), received 18,580 votes.

Nepali Congress candidate Sudhanshu Koirala finished third with 17,585 votes, according to the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer.
