Strong security arrangements ensured for the election: Home Minister



NUWAKOT: Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal has said that strong security arrangements have been made for the March 5 election to the House of Representatives.

Talking to media persons after receiving information about the election security and implementation of the code of conduct at the office of the Chief Returning Officer here today, he said that the government is committed to making strong security arrangements to hold the election in a fearless environment.

“Since the primary responsibility of the current government is to hold the election, our focus is on conducting it in a peaceful environment. Voters are requested to participate in the vote without fear,” the Home Minister said, stating that the environment conducive for elections has been created across the country.

He also said that information has been received from weather forecasting agencies and experts that the weather will be favorable on March 5.
