KATHMANDU: Nepal is currently experiencing the partial influence of a western weather system. According to the Weather Forecasting Division, fog and cloud cover persist in some parts of the Terai, while the Himalayan and high mountain regions, including areas of Koshi Province, remain partly cloudy.
This afternoon, fog and clouds are likely in parts of the Terai. The Himalayan regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces are expected to remain generally cloudy, while the rest of the country will see partly cloudy weather. The Division has forecast a possibility of light rain or snowfall at one or two locations in the high hilly and Himalayan areas of Koshi and Gandaki.
Tonight, fog is likely to continue in some parts of the Terai. The hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces are expected to be partly cloudy, while weather in other areas will remain mostly clear. There remains a chance of light rain or snowfall at isolated locations in the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.
