HoR polls: Results of 8 constituencies announced



KATHMANDU: Vote counting for the House of Representatives (HoR) elections held on Thursday is ongoing, and early results indicate a strong wave in favor of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), shaking the traditional political parties.

So far, out of 9 constituencies, the RSP has won 4 seats, the Nepali Congress 3, and the Nepali Communist Party (NCP) 2. Meanwhile, the RSP is currently leading in 110 constituencies with a wide margin, while the NCP is ahead in 13 constituencies.

In addition, the CPN-UML is leading in 11 constituencies, the Shram Sanskriti Party in 6, and the NCP in 7 others as vote counting continues.
