RSP’s Ranju Darshana close to victory in Kathmandu-1



KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Ranju Darshana (Neupane) is close to victory in Kathmandu Constituency-1, according to the latest vote count.

Darshana has secured 9,078 votes so far, leading her nearest rival Prabal Thapa Chhetri of the Nepali Congress by about 5,000 votes.

Thapa has received 4,088 votes, while Rabindra Mishra of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) is in third place with 2,355 votes.

CPN-UML candidate Mohan Raj Regmi is in fourth place with 745 votes.
