RSP’s Rajiv Khatri takes early lead in Bhaktapur-2



KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has gained a strong early lead in the preliminary vote count of Thursday’s House of Representatives election in Nepal.

In Bhaktapur-2, RSP candidate Rajiv Khatri is currently leading.

According to the latest results, Khatri has secured 3,060 votes. Mahesh Basnet of the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist) has received 1,573 votes.

Meanwhile, Kabir Rana of the Nepali Congress has secured 484 votes so far.
