Rabi Lamichhane doubles lead in Chitwan-2



CHITWAN: The latest vote count from Chitwan Constituency-2 shows Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chair Rabi Lamichhane maintaining a strong lead.

After 6,623 votes were counted, Lamichhane secured 2,801 votes. He is followed by CPN-UML candidate Asmin Ghimire with 1,259 votes. Pratap Gurung of the Nepali Congress has received 1,156 votes, according to the Election Office. Nepali Congress candidate Mina Kharel has secured 916 votes.
