Rabi Lamichhane takes lead in Chitwan-2 vote count



BHARATPUR: Rabi Lamichhane, Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has taken the lead in the ongoing vote count in Chitwan Constituency-2.

Lamichhane, who initially trailed the CPN-UML candidate, has now overtaken UML’s Asmin Ghimire in the latest count.

According to the updated results, Lamichhane has secured 1,588 votes, while Ghimire has received 908 votes.

Nepali Communist Party candidate Pratap Gurung is in third place with 775 votes, followed by Meena Kharel of the Nepali Congress with 539 votes.
