34,252 new voters added in Mahottari



MAHOTTARI: A total of 34,252 new voters have been added in Mahottari for the upcoming election of members of the House of Representatives (HoR) scheduled for March 5.

According to the District Election Office, the newly added voters include 20,052 men, 14,199 women, and one voter registered under the ‘other’ category. With these additions, the total number of voters in the district has reached 431,282, up from 397,030 in the previous voter list.

District Election Officer Ranjita Jha said that Mahottari district has four electoral constituencies.
